Great Moments in Castle HistoryAs stated in another thread there have been some clangers in Castle history but there have been some great moments also, so wandering what stands out in people's memories.
Two great moments to start - Winning the league in the last game of the season after trailing early on and Gatesy lashing home an unstoppable right foot (yes right foot) strike in the first Polesworth final.
Two clangers - Fringe's miss against Ammy Inn - an absolute beauty and Dolan putting the last penalty into orbit against Coton Green after telling everyone how he was going to take the piss with a clever finish.

Two castle reffing clangers:-
1. FROSTY reffing a pre season friendly and forgetting all about time as he was enjoying the game so much he decided to play well over an hour (yes an hour) in the first half.Frost only realised it was time to blow up when half the players were down with cramp and the other half receiving oxygen.Rumour has it that after the game frosty then tried to charge people double subs for a two in one game!!!
2. TOFFA reffing against birchmoor when john joe got into a bit of an arguement with an opponent and then decided to spin round about three times to wind up the power and then unleash a right hook onto the opposing midfielders jaw.Toffa no more than a couple of feet away from the action came over all arsene wenger and claimed he never saw the incident.

just remembered, does anyone else recall the last game of the seasson agains warton wmc?
when they picked their positions out of a hat thinking the game meant nothing and we beat them 4-1 i think taking the div 3 title!! i remember the look of utter surprise on their faces as we all went mad!
